We’ve learnt email, internet and fax on the community computers, much to our kids’ surprise. The 24-hour emergency service is very reassuring and having a doctor, hairdresser and podiatrist in the community is very convenient. We just love it here.” |

The bus goes past 10 or 15 times an hour, you can go pretty much anywhere on it and it drops you off right in front of your door. Doctors, surgeons, private and public hospitals and all the things you need in our age group are close by and the community has the University of the Third Age and a big bowling green.” |

There is a real sense of community here at Keperra Sanctuary, our neighbours are so friendly and there is just so much to get involved in. There’s also a lot of younger retirees and some who have lived locally which gives the village a good reputation when the local people want to move in.” |
